Base Camp Formation

Base Camp Formation

Base camps are established to accommodate emergency responders, relief workers, and volunteers involved in post-disaster operations.
Site Selection and Planning

Identifying a suitable location for the base camp, considering factors such as accessibility to the disaster-affected area, availability of necessary infrastructure, and proximity to the operational zone.

Facilities

We work quickly to deliver temporary buildings, fabric structures, utility trailers, and other temporary housing based on the duration of the camp.

Food Services

Establishing dining facilities or catering services to provide meals and ensure the nutritional needs of the workers are met

Sanitation Facilities

Setting up temporary restroom facilities, showers, and hand-washing stations to maintain hygiene standards within the base camp.

Medical Services

Arranging medical facilities or clinics with trained personnel to provide basic healthcare services and address any health issues or injuries that may arise.

Communication & Connectivity

Installing communication systems, such as satellite phones, internet access, and radio systems, to facilitate effective coordination and communication among the workers and with external entities.

Security & Safety

Implementing security measures to ensure the safety of workers and their belongings, including access control, lighting, and security personnel.

Waste Management

Establishing waste disposal and recycling systems to maintain cleanliness and environmental sustainability within the base camp.

Maintenance

Conducting scheduled inspections and assessments of the temporary housing units helps identify maintenance needs and assess overall conditions. This includes checking for wear and tear, identifying potential hazards, and prioritizing repairs or replacements accordingly.

Cleaning Services

Regular cleaning of temporary housing units is essential to maintain hygiene and cleanliness. This includes sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing all areas, including living space, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.

HVAC

We will install HVAC equipment in designated areas within the temporary housing units, ensuring proper placement and securing them to prevent accidents or damage. If applicable, we will install ductwork and ventilation systems to distribute conditioned air throughout the units, ensuring proper airflow and ventilation.

Electricity

We will assess the electrical load requirements of the temporary housing units based on the number of units, appliances, lighting, and other electrical equipment to be used. We will then plan the electrical distribution system, including distribution panels, circuits, and wiring, to ensure safe and efficient power supply to the units. Electrical wiring will be installed within the units, adhering to safety codes and regulations.

Diesel Mechanic Services

Power generators, water pumps, HVAC systems, and heavy-duty machinery will be installed and maintained to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability. This includes checking fluid levels, filters, belts, hoses, and conducting routine oil changes and lubrication.

Demobilization

Removal of housing units, electrical, water, and sanitation systems, including wiring, plumbing, and fixtures to restore site to original conditions.
